Parabellum City is not meant to represent any specific place in our real world, but one of the businesses mentioned on Verf Street is an easter egg for 80s kids who grew up within range of Detroit tv signals. “Dittrich Furs” in Detroit and Bloomfield Hills produced epic tv commercials of women wearing long fur coats while snow skiing and riding horses, with an unforgettable jingle. https://youtu.be/g3XTP2XJEwU

2. Falk confronted a valkyrie, possibly in his dreams, in episode 46, “Who Do You Think You Are?”

3. Personally I love “Rockin’ Robin” (public domain in the US because copyright was never renewed). Falk is just set in his ways in terms of musical preferences, and won’t appreciate it when he eventually hears rock and roll.
