Skee-Ball Racket - Episode 1

Skee-Ball Racket is the premiere episode of This Gun in My Hand. What we have here is a new old-timey radio play series, brought to you by the National Rifle Manufacturers Association. Falk Zildjian, incomparable hero by virtue of the fact he carries a gun, confronts counterfeiters. Will he bring them to justice? Do you really want me to spoil the premiere episode? Find out for yourself. It's less than nine minutes long and that's including end credits.

Written, performed and edited by Rob Northrup. If I've set this up correctly, you should be able to copy the rss feed from this website and plug it into your favorite podcast client app thingy, to follow This Gun in My Hand as a podcast. Subscribe please! If you find it on a podcast client app website thingy, please review it! Or just check back here occasionally for more episodes. Episodes will also be posted on Youtube because I hear some people like to consume podcasts that way.

The theme music for This Gun in My Hand is from The Sun Sets at Dawn, a 1950 film that's in public domain. There's a brief "curtain call" audio clip from a 1939 episode of Lux Radio Theater, titled "Mrs. Moonlight." I hope that counts as fair use, if Lux isn't out of copyright yet. This episode used the following sound effects clips:

"Cutlery drawer" - public domain.

"Light bulb breaking" by Mike Koenig (CC-BY)

Skee-Ball Racket should be available in audio formats other than mp3 on this page at archive.org.
